William Antonelle passed away at the age of 100 on October 20, 2019. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 1, 1919, the eighth of nine children born to Carmine and Mary (Juliano) Antonelle. He married Helen Ciesielski in 1943. They were married for 32 years. She preceded him in death.\nHe enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1944 and served in the Pacific during World War II. Following his military service he went to work for North American Phillips Electronics in Mount Vernon NY and later became a part owner of Steinmetz Machine Works in Byron CT. He moved to Florida in 1970 and held various positions until his retirement at age 85. He moved to Beaufort in 2018 and resided at River Oaks in Port Royal until his death.\nHe is survived by a daughter, Linda (John) Garlinger, a granddaughter, Diane (Rick) Smith, a grandson David (Candace) Niederauer and two great grandsons, Rickey and Daniel Smith.\nGraveside services with military honors will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 10:00am at the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.
