Thomas Orlando

Thomas "Tom" Nicholas Orlando, 79, husband of Gloria Orlando, of Beaufort, SC, died peacefully at Beaufort Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family on February 22, 2023.

Survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Gloria; one daughter Melissa Corbett of Beaufort, SC; two grandsons, Brendan and Christopher Corbett of Beaufort, SC; one sister, Sandra Lombardozzi of Erie, PA; two nieces, Stephanie Lombardozzi and Doria Allen Erie, PA; two nephews, Cessie Lombardozzi and Frank DiMarie of Erie, PA; one great niece, Tonia Lombardozzi and one great nephew, Frank DiMarie, Jr. of Erie, PA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas N. Orlando, Sr. and his mother, Antoinette Orlando of Erie, PA and a sister, Filomena DiMarie of Erie, PA.

Thomas was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School in Erie, PA class of 1961, a United States Army Veteran, a long-term employee of Home Depot in Bluffton, SC and Oxford ABC in Beaufort, SC.

Anyone he met was just a friend waiting to be made.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing card games, sharing stories and making people laugh. He took great pride in his work and in being an employee you could always count on. He was always willing to help anyone in need.

He was definitely one of a kind and will be greatly missed by his loving family, friends and co-workers.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 5-7 pm at Anderson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donation be made to the American Heart Association.
