Theresa Throne Obituary (1954 - 2023) - Beaufort, South Carolina

Theresa Ellen Throne, 68, widow of Michael Allen Throne, of Beaufort, SC, died Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in Mill Creek Manor in Columbia, SC. She was born in Walterboro, SC on the 23rd day of December 1954 to James R Vachout and Elizabeth W Bennett nee Adams. Theresa was a graduate of Beaufort High School. Theresa worked as a Unit Secretary for Beaufort Memorial Hospital for over 25 years. Theresa was a proud member of the Columbiettes since 2008 and was a member ST. Anthony’s Catholic chapel. She loved spending time with family. Theresa was a kind and loving mother and wife. She enjoyed curling up with a good book and had a love of watching true crime tv shows. She was an animal lover and was particularly fond of cats. She really enjoyed going on family camping trips. She is survived by her children Daryl Throne, David Throne, Amber Gillis, and Randi Woodruff. Her sister Beverly A Daggs. Her fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in Death by her daughters Angel M Giffin and Elizabeth F Stringfellow and her grandson David Stringfellow. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 5-7pm at Anderson Funeral Home.
