Theo Woods

The relatives of Theo Louise Turner Woods invite you to celebrate her life at a service to be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 2:00pm in the First Presbyterian Church of Beaufort. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 1:00 in Beaufort Memorial Gardens for family.

Theo passed away peacefully on June 7, 2023 at her residence. Theo was the wife of E. Eugene Woods and the daughter of Harold and Ethel “Dicki” Turner of Mayesville. Theo is survived by her son (Michael), daughter-in-law (Jennifer), and two grandchildren (Cooper and Davis). She is also survived by her brother, Linwood Turner of Mayesville and a sister, Lillis Turner Brogdon of Sumter.

Theo was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as deacon. She was a volunteer for CAPA and V.O.I.C.E. Theo spent 35 years in the local school system as a teacher, principal and librarian.
