Sue Floyd Farlow, 71, of Beaufort, SC formerly of Asheboro, NC died peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, June 14th, 2021 at her residence. Ms. Farlow was born on August 17th, 1949 in Washington, DC. She is the daughter of the late Kermit P. Floyd and Mary Wilson Floyd.\n\n \nShe was a loving mother, caring friend, inspiring teacher. She furthered her education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She taught English and Journalism at Asheboro High School for over 30 years and touched many lives while keeping in contact with many of her students over the years. She enjoyed a lifetime of reading literature and writing poetry. \n \nSurviving are her two sons Daniel (Jenny) and Brian (Emily), her grandchildren Olivia, Graham, and Holly. She is also survived by her brother Kermit "Mickey" (Diane) Floyd.\n \nFriends and family will gather at her residence to celebrate her life on Thursday, June 17th at noon.\n \nThe family would like to thank Friends of Caroline Hospice and Palliative Care.
