Ronald Nappi

Ronald Nappi, born on August 30, 1941 in Derby, CT, passed away on February 26, 2024 at the age of 82. Survived by his wife of 50 years Trudy; brothers Frank and Kenneth; children Melina and Nick and their spouses Chris and Jill; and grandchildren Keegan, Griffin, Cassidy, Cameron, and Kaylee.

A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather (affectionately called ‘Poppi’) – he was proud of his Italian-American heritage and his service as Captain in the U.S. Air Force as a B52 Navigator during the Vietnam War. Ron became a psychologist - a natural ‘people person’ who could talk to anyone and gave back to his community by managing mental healthcare at clinics and in his private practice.

He will be remembered for his loyalty to family and friends, sense of humor, and voracity for life.

A funeral mass will be held in his honor on Friday, March 8 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church 70 Lady’s Island Drive, Beaufort, SC 29907. For more details visit: www.andersonfhsc.com
