Rodger David Adkins, 62 of Beaufort, SC, husband of Patty Adkins, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Caroline’s Cottage. Services are pending at this time. Rodger was born on October 31, 1960, in South Charleston, WV, the son of the late Gilbert W. and Vera Mae (Loudermilk) Adkins. He later married Patty Louise Buzzard in (1982). He was a loving father to his 3 children. He was a security officer at Bray's Island Plantation for 13 yrs. Rodger enjoyed camping, video games, and spending time with his family. Survivors include: his wife, Patty Adkins; daughters: Gloria Beth Davis (Michael); Cheryl VanScoy (Ryan); sons: Adam Horton; grandchildren: Joseph, Taylor, Whitney, Kirsten, Katlyn Tabetha, Blake, James, Jon, Alex, Katelyn, Ciara, Emily, Noah. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations sent to be to the American Cancer Society.
