Rickey Wayne Norton, 63, husband of Shannon Bame Norton, of St. Helena, SC, died on Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Beaufort Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 12:30pm at Anderson Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 2:00pm on Thursday in Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Rickey was born on September 4, 1961 in Augusta , GA. He is the son of the late Frank L. Norton and Sarah Bedgood Norton. Rickey Norton was a proud owner of Norton Welding Supply, a family business that serviced Augusta GA for 38 years. He was an amazing and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He had a love for fishing and being out on the water, and he shared those things with his children and grandchildren. Anyone that knew Rickey Norton loved him. He was an amazing person and would help anyone anytime anywhere, never expecting anything in return. he will be missed deeply. Surviving in addition to his wife, Shannon; is two sons, Wesley Norton and Matthew Norton; two step-sons, Ian Coffey and Michael Channin; one brother, Billy Norton; three sisters, Sarah Armstrong, Debbie Vick and Sandra Norton; two grandchildren.
