Richard Partridge

Richard "Dick" J. Partridge, 88, widower of Mary Ann Tisdale Partridge, of Beaufort, SC, died Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at his residence.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 10:00am at Forest Lawn Mausoleum (beside Anderson Funeral Home).

Dick was born on December 18, 1935 in Afton, NY. He is the son of the late Russell Partridge and Mona LeSures Partridge.

After graduating from Beaufort High School, Dick spent 3 years in the National Guard. After his service he started working for Southland Life Insurance. He was very successful in his profession, winning many awards for his work performance.

He loved being on the river fishing and shrimping. He owned many shrimp boats over the years. Dick and his wife Mary Ann enjoyed traveling to his birthplace and spending summers there.

Most of all Dick loved his family.

Surviving are three sons, Billy Partridge, Jimmy Partridge and Ronnie Partridge; one daughter, Laura Partridge; one sister, Carol "Pete" Poole; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
