Michal Rice Polk Obituary (2021) - Beaufort, South Carolina

Michal Rice Polk, 78, wife of Normandus "Butch" Polk, III, of Yemassee, SC, died Thursday, October 7, 2021 in Rock Hill, SC. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 12:00noon in Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel. Michal was born on November 25, 1942 in Ponca City, OK. She is the daughter of the late Earl Applebee and Mildred Lockhart Applebee. Surviving in addition to her husband, Butch; are one son, J. J. Rice; three daughters, Kristine, Ann and Katie; one brother, Steven; twenty one grandchildren; five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
