Michael Lee Wilson, 25, of Bluffton, SC, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, in West Palm Beach, FL.\nA Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at The Baptist Church of Beaufort.\nMichael was born on July 5, 1996, in Augusta, GA, the son of James Clint and Dannie Jo (McLendon) Wilson. As a child, he loved Toy Story, enjoyed reading, and looked forward to Vacation Bible School every summer! As a teenager, he grew to be a huge Star Wars fan, enjoyed going to youth group at the church, and played in the marching band (baritone and also the base drum). After high school, he went to University of South Carolina where he played baritone in the marching band one year. He worked at Elisabetta's Ristorante as an expert pizza maker in West Palm Beach, FL at the time of his death. Michael was a fun-loving man who brightened the room with his smile. He was a friend to all and really loved making people laugh.\nSurvivors include parents: James Clint and Dannie Jo Wilson; sister: McKenzie Ann Wilson; paternal grandparents: William and Kennyann Wilson; maternal grandparents: Philip and Lisa McLendon & Walter and Linda Dodson; aunts: Cleo Meyer, Donna Meyer, Opal Horvat, Martha White, Ansley McLendon, and Michelle Livengood; uncles: Glen McLendon and Aaron McLendon.\nIn lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made out to Baptist Church of Beaufort Benevolence Fund.\nAnderson Funeral Home is serving the family.
