Merrill Tate Obituary (1957 - 2024) - Beaufort, South Carolina

Merrill W. Tate, 67, husband of Ruby V. Tate, of Beaufort, SC, died Friday, November 8, 2024 at his residence. The family will receive friends of Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 12:30pm at Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Tate was born on April 2, 1957 in Quantico, VA. He is the son of the late Gerald Tate and Rose Moreland Tate. Surviving in addition to his wife, Ruby are one daughter, Christina Tate; One son, Matthew M. W. Tate; Nieces, Jennifer Holly, Christopher Holly, Savannah and Melissa Marcell; Nephew, Joshua Sandy, Joey Sandy; Two grandchildren Emily Horton and Noah Horton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St Joseph's/Candler cancer institute for children.
