Mary Joda Lamie, Mary Joda Williams born on Monday, September 18, 1950, was the daughter of Joe (and Jane) Williams, stepdaughter of Dorothy Williams of Burgettstown, PA. Mary gained her angel wings on December 15, 2022 peacefully at her home.\n She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James "Butch" Lamie , her daughter Elizabeth "Liz" Hauff (Josh), grandkids Wesley and Harper of Beaufort. Sister Grace Barkhurst (Donny) of Burgettstown, PA one brother Joe "Chip" Williams (Deb) Springfield, MO, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in addition to all our Lamie family she loved dearly.\nMary was a graduate of North Allegheny High School class of 1968. She then joined the United States Marine Corp., serving at Parris Island. Soon there after she meets fellow Marine, her husband Butch. She retired as the County Clerk for Beaufort County Register of Deeds. She was a people person and loved to help others. Mary was a true asset to our town and will be missed by so many. Her favorite color is GREEN if you would like to wear something in her honor.\nFuneral will be held at Cornerstone Church Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10:30am, followed by burial at Beaufort's National Cemetery. Anderson Funeral Home in Beaufort is in charge of arrangements.\nFamily asked that any donations be made in her honor to St Jude's Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital, or Augusta Burn Center.
