Luz Ruiz Obituary (1950 - 2023) - Beaufort, South Carolina

Luz (Lucy) Ruiz, 73, passed away on November 2, 2023, surrounded by her loving family in Beaufort, South Carolina. She was born in Puerto Rico to Juan and Elisa Terron in June 1950. She is survived by her sister, Maria Amely. Lucy leaves behind her children Genevieve Ruiz Moran and Jaycee Ruiz and her grandchildren Michael Martinez, Albert Ruiz Rodriguez, Skyler Rodriguez, and Sean Moran, and great-granddaughter Svea Martinez. She will be greatly missed by all her family members. Lucy married her childhood sweetheart, Tito, in 1968. They had a long and glorious courtship, which resulted in years of happiness and a loving family. She has joined Tito in heaven and is once again reunited. Lucy will be best remembered for her love and support of her family. The family will gather for the inurnment at Forest Lawn Cemetery's columbarium on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. At Lucy's request, there will be no memorial service—instead, a celebration of life for all of those who loved and cared for her will take place at her home the same day at 5:00 p.m. Anderson Funeral Home has been entrusted to care for Mrs. Ruiz.
