Lillian Kader Obituary (1927 - 2024) - Lexington, South Carolina

Lillian Kader, formerly of Beaufort, SC, passed away on July 11, 2024 in Lexington, SC. She was born on November 8, 1927 in Stillmore, GA. She is a daughter of the late Bluford Amerson, Sr., and Lillie Mae Collins Amerson. Lillian was a skilled seamstress and an avid gardener. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Kader of Lexington, SC and Luella Gentry of Conroe, TX; two sons, Gary Kader (and wife Saralyn) of Blowing Rock, NC, and Gregory Kader (and wife Lisa) of Cordele, GA; brother Willie Amerson of Lady Lake, FL; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 70 year, Lawrence Kader; her son Gerald Kader; two sisters, Louzine Cherry and Elizabeth Ownbey; two brothers, Bluford Amerson, Jr., and Donlee Amerson; and son-in-law, Don Gentry. Lillian's remains will be interred at the Beaufort National Cemetery beside her husband. No memorial service is scheduled at this time. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 9:30am at Anderson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow on Friday, at 11:00am in Beaufort National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a memorial contribution to Port Royal United Methodist Church (Building Fund), 1602 Columbia Ave., Port Royal, SC 29935.
