She will be sadly missed by them all because of the memories and joy she brought to their lives. Her accomplishments were many. To mention a few, she was always active in the church, President of the women's golf league in Hendersonville, N.C, President of several Floral Arranging Clubs in Lynchburg, Virginia and Orchard Park, NY and a Life Time Member of the Eastern Star. However, her most significant accomplishment was her love of life, her ability to bring humor to almost any situation, and her very kind heart. A family Memorial Service will be held at Chimney Rock Mountain near Hendersonville, N.C. in the fall. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to the National Alzheimers Foundation or St. Lukes Hospice Association of Beaufort, S.C.
