Lecia "Gaylyn" Good, 51, of Beaufort, SC passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at her residence. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 6, 2015 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Anderson Funeral Home with burial in Henry Cemetery in Corinth, Mississippi. Gaylyn a beloved and cherished mother, daughter, sister and friend was born on March 4, 1964 in Memphis, TN to Charles Richard Short and Lynn Tyra Short. She unconditionally loved and served the local community as a Registered Nurse for Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Her uncompared compassion and selflessness was evidenced throughout her 27 year career. Her infectious laugh and bright smile will live on in the memories of her family and friends. Surviving in addition to her parents, Charles and Lynn Short of Corinth, MS; are two daughters, Brandi Good and Ashley Campbell; three grandchildren, Brantt and Brooklynn Anthony, Aubrey Campbell, and a granddaughter on the way; a brother, Mark Short; a nephew Casey Short; and two nieces Summer and Kristin Short; and cherished uncles, aunts, and cousins.
