Larry Crosby, Sr. Obituary (1958 - 2023) - Beaufort, South Carolina

Larry Douglas Crosby, Sr., 64, a native of Beaufort, passed away October 15, 2023. Larry was born on November 22, 1958 in Beaufort, SC. He is the son of the late Melvin Crosby, Jr and Shirley Lane Crosby. Memorial services will be on Thursday October 26th 2023 at 2pm at Beaufort Church of God located at 641 Parris Island Gateway. A reception will follow at the home of Doug & Lea Crosby. Larry spent most of his adult life as a commercial fisherman and spent his free time coaching baseball and football with Beaufort PALS for many years. He was a diehard Atlanta Braves & SC Gamecocks fan. He was funny, hard working, kind, one-of-a-kind. He had a big heart and loved his children more than anything. Surviving are two sons, Douglas Crosby, II and Ryan Crosby; three daughters, Haley Crosby, Shawna Laluk and Grace Crosby; two brothers, Randy Crosby and Mark Crosby; three sisters, Cathy Crosby, Tammy Appleby and Connie Crosby; four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
