Kenneth Norman Gibson, 52, husband of Alice Brown Gibson, of Rincon, GA, died Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Savannah Memorial Hospital.\n\nThe family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 10:00am at Sea Island Presbyterian Church with the funeral to follow at 11:00am in church and interment in Beaufort National Cemetery with military honors.\n\nKenneth was born on April 13, 1971, in Beaufort, SC. He is the son of Suzanne Martin Gibson and the late Kenneth L. Gibson.\n\nSurviving in addition to his wife, Alice (Tish), are two sons, Ian Riley Gibson and Kenneth Moe; two stepsons, Dylan Taylor Camp and Cameron James Camp; one grandchild, Dawson Taylor Camp.\n\nKenneth was a Naval Veteran where he served on the USS Abraham Lincoln. \nKenneth was an outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, yardwork and caring for his chickens and ducks. He was described as loving, empathetic and self-less. Kenneth enjoyed engaging with anyone around him even in the hospital during his last days. He could bring laughter into any situation. One of Kenneth's greatest joys was being alongside his work family at G and J Equipment Rental. He dearly loved his mother, Susanne and his wife, Tish. \n\nIn lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Effingham Animal Recuse Sanctuary.
