Joseph Frank Olszewski, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Sprenger Health Care, Port Royal, SC. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marie (Grabarek) Olszewski. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years, Melvina (Ciosek), and son, Joseph W. Olszewski.\nHe is survived by his son David J. Olszewski and his wife Regina (Ginger), of Lady's Island, SC, with whom he resided, and his daughter-in-law Sandra Olszewski. He was an adored grandfather to four grandchildren: Lauren Myers and her husband Adam, Jason Olszewski and his wife Diane, Todd Olszewski and his wife Brenda, and Aaron Olszewski and his wife Heather. He was cherished by his eight great-grandchildren: Ethan, Audrey, Ava, Owen, Andrew, Elizabeth, Joseph, and Abraham.\nJoe was a veteran, having served his country in the US Army. He worked for many years as a truck driver for National Cylinder Gas. After retiring and moving to West Ocean City, Maryland, he enjoyed spending time with neighbors and working in the yard. He looked forward to visits from friends and family. He was a member of the Church of the Annunciation in Baltimore, and Holy Savior Catholic Church in Ocean City, MD. He attended St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Port Royal, during his residence in Beaufort.\nCremation followed his death. A memorial service will be held in Baltimore at the convenience of the family.
