Johnsie Bardo Obituary (1928 - 2014) - Beaufort, South Carolina

Johnsie "Johnnie" Clawson Bardo, 85 widow of Carl Gene Bardo, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at her residence in Ridgeland, SC. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2013 from 12:00noon to 1:30pm, with Graveside funeral services to follow at 2:00pm in Beaufort National Cemetery. Mrs. Bardo was born on April 19, 1928 in Belmont, NC. She was the daughter of the late Clyde Clawson and Cora Sherrill Clawson. Surviving are five sons, Nick(Pam) Bardo, Dennis(Melinda) Groner, Reggie(Monica) Bardo, Lonnie Bardo, Robbie(Lisa)Bardo; one daughter, Carla(Jerry Clark) Gellenbeck; one brother, Darrell(Kay)Clawson and one sister, Dot Brazzell; twenty five grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Kay Lynn Bardo, two brothers, Charles and Bill Clawson and one sister, Shirley Shope Harris.
