John Mucha

John Edward Mucha, Jr., 86, of Beaufort, SC passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on January 27th, 2024 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Born August 26th, 1937, in Erie, PA.

John is survived by his loving wife, Judy (Munch) Mucha of 66 years.

A son of the late John and Martha Mucha, in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette Sakuta.

Survivors include his brother Raymond (Joyce) and sister Lynette Birch. Two sons, John (Pam), Scott (Mary Kay), and a daughter Kimberly Mucha Godley, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

During his adult life, he worked as a die repair man and supervisor of die repair at Parker White of Fairview, PA, Parker White of Beaufort, SC, and R.E. Phelon of Aiken, SC.

John enjoyed his family, fishing, boating, shrimping, traveling, camping and gardening.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
