In Loving Memory of Joan Campbell\n\nWith heavy hearts and a flood of cherished memories, we announce the peaceful yet unexpected passing of our beloved Joan Campbell, who gracefully departed this world at the age of 76 in Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, South Carolina, on Wednesday, January 10th surrounded by the love of her family.\n\nJoan's warmth and genuine kindness welcomed everyone into her world, leaving a lasting mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. As a realtor for 35 years, she went beyond transactions, becoming a trusted friend and confidante to many.\n\nHer love for fishing was accompanied by a peculiar twist – she couldn't swim! Yet, Joan fearlessly faced open waters with a fishing rod in hand, embracing the thrill of the catch while playfully avoiding the depths beneath.\n\nDancing brought immense joy to Joan's life, and whether it was the rhythm of a lively tune or the slow embrace of a ballad, she reveled in the magic of movement, inspiring those around her to join in the celebration of life.\n\nFamily was the cornerstone of Joan's existence. Her love knew no bounds, and she took pride in being a pillar of support for each member. Joan's commitment to her loved ones was a beacon of strength and love that will continue to guide us in her absence.\n\nJoan is survived by her spouse, Alfred “Al” Campbell, who is devastated by the loss of his darling wife. Joan is also profoundly loved and remembered through her only sister, Judy Boynton. Central to the heart of Joan's family circle are her children—Sheri Lowrimore (Robert), William “Buggs” Lowrimore (Terri), and Donald Lowrimore (Lisa)—each playing integral roles in the intimate and cherished connections that define their family bond. Additionally, Wendy Berry (Byron) and Vic Campbell, children of Al, contribute to this family in unique and valued ways.\n\nHer grandchildren, the apple of her eye, continue her legacy, Heather, Ashley, and Robert (children of Sheri and Robert), Patrick and Corey (children of Will and Terri), Amber and Evan (children of Donald and Lisa), Brittany and Brandon (children of Wendy and Byron), and Amanda, Kirsten, and Justin (children of Vic).\n\nIn addition to her grandchildren, Joan was blessed with many great-grandchildren, each cherished and beloved. As we come together to celebrate Joan's life, let us also celebrate the enduring bond of this remarkable family. Joan's caring heart, giving spirit, and legendary presence will forever echo in the hearts of her family, creating a legacy of love passed down generations.\n\nDescribed as a legend, Joan will be remembered not only for her professional achievements but for the legacy of love, kindness, and compassion she leaves behind. As we bid farewell, let us carry forward the lessons of love and generosity that she so gracefully imparted. In celebrating her life, we find solace in the memories that will forever be etched in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Joan, knowing that your legacy of love will live on through the countless lives you touched.\n\nVisitation will take place on Wednesday, January 17th at Anderson Funeral Home in Beaufort, South Carolina from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a graveside burial service at Beaufort National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
