Jerry Arquette, Sr., 69, of Beaufort, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.\n He was born February 9, 1951 to the late Frank Arquette and Delia Grindstaff Arquette and was owner of Pit Stop Automotive from 1997-2016. \n Surviving are his wife: Carol Arquette of 23 years, Children: Robert Arquette(Tara), Susan "Missy" Thigpen(Shannon), Jerry "JJ" Arquette, jr.(Patti), Holly Throne(Jeff), Richard Haynes(Stephanie), Shawn Adams (Julie) and Shannon Adams. Brother: Billy Arquette and sisters Jill Black (Rick) and Shelby Guinn. He had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. \n He was preceded in death by his daughter Christy Edwards.\n Jerry was an outgoing man who loved his family dearly. He loved to fish and be outdoors. He also enjoyed working in his flower garden and working on cars. \nA Celebration of Life will be held at later date.
