Jennie L. Irwin, 68 of Seabrook, SC, loving wife of Ken Irwin; Mom to Becky, Josh, Andrew, Leah, and their spouses, and Mom-Mom to Kahlela, Kevin, Jadyn, Nathan, Jo, Bree, Eden, Jude; and Great Mom-Mom to-be, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at MUSC Medical Center in Charleston, SC.\n\nJennie's life was characterized by love, determination, and caring. She worked for many years at New Life Youth and Family Services in Schwenksville, PA as Director of Nursing; caring for and helping youth in crisis. Most recently, Jennie volunteered with Praise Cares and enjoyed serving the community.\n\nShe and Ken enjoyed many family trips to the beach over the years. Jennie was a seamstress and expert crafter and is known for her many counted cross-stitch projects. She also had an abundance of Christmas decorations, including "hordes" of snowmen. She will be deeply missed by all.\n\nFollowing an earlier private family funeral, a community Celebration of Life for Mrs. Irwin will be held November 7th at 11am, at Praise Assembly, Beaufort, SC.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Praise Assembly (https://www.lowcountrypraise.com) for the Praise Cares Community Outreach Program.
