As it grew, it would go out into the oak trees and play during the day, but return to her door at dusk, so he could sleep in the knit cap she had raised him in.\nJean loved to work and provide for her family. She held many different jobs over the course of her life, the final was an accounting position at Natrochem, in Savannah. She retired from that company at the age of 65, but returned full time at the age of 69, driving roundtrip from Beaufort to Savannah 5 days a week until she retired again 2 years ago at the age of 86. \nJean was preceded in death by her father, mother, sister, husband, and two daughters, Betty A. Boisclair and Barbara A. Campbell. \nShe is survived by daughter, Linda Blount and son, Ray Allen (Lynne). Seven grandchildren, Miranda (Boisclair) Simons (Jeremiah), Jason Blount, Ryan Blount, Tiffany Simmons, Stephanie Campbell, Mark Allen (Kristen), and Jacob Allen.
