James Joseph “JJ” Roddy
September 14, 2023 – January 28, 2025

With broken hearts, we share the passing of our beloved James Joseph “JJ” Roddy, affectionately known as chunky monkey, Mr. James and JJ Melon. At just 16 months old, JJ’s bright spirit filled every moment with joy, laughter, and love.

Born on September 14, 2023, to his devoted parents, Tommy Roddy and Kristie Schiller, JJ was the light of their lives. From the moment he arrived, he was wrapped in love and affection, and every day with him was a gift. His parents adored him beyond words—Kristie cherished every snuggle and sweet moment, and Tommy loved nothing more than making JJ laugh and watching him play. JJ was their whole world, and the bond they shared will never be broken.

JJ was a happy, energetic little boy who idolized his big brother, Weston. Whether he was chasing after him, trying to keep up, or simply watching in admiration, JJ’s love for Weston was endless. He also treasured his time at Auntie Jenelle’s house, where he was surrounded by fun, laughter, and so much love.

JJ was welcomed into heaven by his great-grandmother Jaylene Dean, his great-grandfather Bennitt Schiller II, and many other beloved family members who would have adored him just as much as we do.

He is survived by his loving parents, Tommy Roddy and Kristie Schiller, his big brother Weston, his grandparents Jim and Tonya Jones, Matthew and Chrissy Roddy, Bennett and Karoline Schiller. He is also survived by Aunts and Uncles, Jenelle, Colby, Carson, Hannah, Riley, Liam, Jason, Kim, Melanie, Justin, Matthew and Hollis. Cousins River, Elias, Charlie and many more family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

A service to celebrate JJ’s beautiful life will be held on Tuesday February 11th at 2:30 PM Anderson Funeral Home. Following service, all are welcome to gather at his grandparents’ home, Tonya and Jim Jones, to continue honoring JJ’s memory together.

Though he is no longer in our arms, he will always be in our hearts.
