Elizabeth (Betty) Josephine Tenore Obituary (2020)

Elizabeth (Betty) Tenore passed away on October 12, 2020 at Sprenger Health Care Port Royal at the age of 90. Betty was the daughter of the late Louis and Ester Tenore of Cambridge, MA. She is survived by her brother Louis (Sonny) Tenore, nephew Louis (Jim) Tenore, his wife Jen, their children, Olivia and Luke, and her beloved cat, Baby. Betty will be greatly missed by her closest friends and caregivers, Susan Morlino and Mary Elias. Dr. Tenore earned degrees in Cognitive Psychology and in Research and Planning. She was a much loved Professor who lived and worked in Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Georgia. Memorial contributions can be made in to "Many Paws" c/o First Federal Bank, P.O. Box 1899, Beaufort, SC 29901. This fund was set up as one of Betty's last requests in order to support spay/neuter and emergency care for feral and abandon felines.
