Elizabeth "Beth" Parlee (née Tilton) Raggett, 65, wife to William E. Raggett, Sr., passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.\n\nMrs. Raggett was born on August 19, 1957 in Florence, SC to the late Andrew & Margaret Gainey and graduated from Battery Creek High School in 1976. She was a valued and talented employee at the Marine Corps Community Services' Food & Hospitality division for over 30 years.\n\nIn addition to her husband, Beth is survived by three children: William E. Ragget, Jr. (Candice), James A. Raggett, Sr. (Brittney), Felicity Burke, and Michael Raggett; eight grandchildren: Autum, Deana, William, James, Jr., Brayden, and Kayliegh Raggett, and Kristen and Jack Burke; a great-grandchild, Zj Womack; a sister, Gloria Duncan (Harry) and a brother, Laurie Tilton. In addition to her parents, Beth is predeceased by her brother, Butch Gainey.\n\nBeth was known by many, and loved by all she came in contact with. She was a strong woman with a good heart. Beth loved her family with everything in her, she was a wonderful mother and an even better “Nana”. She will be missed terribly by so many. Look for her in sunsets, in beach waves, think of her when you see giant elephant ear plants or when you belly laugh loud and full of excitement and happiness. \n\nFamily and friends are invited to a visitation in memory of Beth on Monday, April 17, 2023, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Beaufort, SC.\n\nAnderson Funeral Home is serving the family.
