Doris Elizabeth Mayo

Doris Elizabeth Mayo, 86, of Beaufort, SC, widow of Phillip Stewart Mayo, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 in Pruitt Health in Walterboro, SC.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:30 PM in Anderson Funeral Home.
Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM in Beaufort National Cemetery.
Mrs. Mayo was born on March 4, 1932 in Walterboro, SC. She is the daughter of the late Edgar Warren and Lola Warren.
Mrs. Mayo worked at Martin's Men Shop, Este Lauder at Belk and finally at Wal-Mart as a greeter.
Surviving are two sons, Kerry and Lincoln Mayo(Cynde); one daughter, Kelly Whitaker; daughter in law, Sharon Mayo; eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son Mike Mayo.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Agape Hospice or ASPCA.
