Collette G. McMillen Obituary (2013)

Collette G. McMillen, 77, beloved wife of 56 years to "Mac" McMillen, of Beaufort, SC, died Saturday, January 12, 2013 in St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA. Mrs. McMillen was born on April 14, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI. Her family and friends were blessed with her unconditional love, generosity, and kindness. She will be fondly remembered, dearly missed, and forever loved. She proudly served in the Marine Corps and is a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Surviving in addition to her husband, "Mac" of Beaufort, SC; are one son, James McMillen; four daughters, Karen Didion, Melinda Allfrey, Laurie Coggins and Victoria McMillen; one brother, Buzzy Markussen; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 10:30am at St. Peter's Catholic Church with a reception to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
