Chizuko Schrock Obituary (1939 - 2024) - Beaufort, South Carolina

Chizuko Tanahara Schrock, 84, widow of Howard L. Schrock, of Beaufort, SC, died Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at her residence surrounded by family. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 12:00 noon to 1:30pm at Anderson Funeral Home with a Graveside Funeral to follow on Thursday at 2:00pm in Beaufort National Cemetery. Mrs. Schrock was born on March 9, 1939 in Naha Okinawa, Japan. She is the daughter of the late Kiyo Tanahara of Naha, Okinawa Japan. Surviving are one daughter Lika Schrock; three sons, John Schrock, Daniel Schrock and Edward Schrock; two sisters, Naeko Higa of Naha Okinawa Japana and Misako Toda of Osaka, Japan. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St Jude, the Salvation Army, DAV and Special Olympics of South Carolina.
