Cheryl Lynne Hunter—Cher or Babe to Warren—Mom to two—Cher-Cher to some, and Nana to one—was born in Philadelphia, PA, on January 4, 1949, to Rocky and Jennie Parisano. Her family moved to the “burbs,” Broomall to be exact, so she and her brother, Mark, could attend school outside the city.\n\nThat’s the move that set her up to meet the love of her life, Warren, when she was just 13. They were together off and on—mostly on—for seven years before she began her journey with him on April 19, 1969—which would last nearly 55 years. Together, they lived in Broomall, State College, Wayne, Havertown, and Downingtown, PA. Later, they moved to Lake Bluff, IL, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, then back to PA to live in Malvern and Paoli, and finally settled in Beaufort, SC.\n\nShe and Warren were baptized as Jehovah’s Witnesses in January 1978. Cheryl loved the ministry. She was a continuous auxiliary pioneer while living in Lake Bluff and a regular pioneer for four years in Ponte Vedra Beach. Her daughter Kristen joined her as a pioneer overlapping two of those years.\n\nAfter returning to the Philadelphia area, she began to share her love of home décor and interior design by starting a small business. Upon her arrival in Beaufort, she expanded that business, partnering with her younger daughter, Allegra. Together, they opened a much-loved home accent shop on Bay Street.\n\nCheryl is survived by her husband, Warren; her daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Josh Saxe; her grandson, Allen Craig; and her pups, Vivi and Pica.\n\nAnderson Funeral Home is serving the family.
