Brooks Haden

Brooks Henderson Haden, 61, originally of San Francisco, passed away on March 31, 2025, at his residence in Beaufort, South Carolina after being diagnosed in February with a terminal illness.
Family members include his wife Vicki, children Bankes and Bennett from a prior marriage to Courtnay Schafer, and two sisters, Kristen and Robin. He was a graduate of SMU and was a member of the Pacific Union Club and French Club, both in San Francisco.

Brooks was a man of many interests and talents. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, an inspired gardener who took pride in his rose and lavender garden, and an amazing chef and grill master. Brooks was constantly learning. He loved to talk about history over a good glass of wine, and was a lifelong fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. His favorite places on earth were Lake Tahoe, Maui, Jackson Hole, Spain, Argentina, and anywhere with Vicki and the kids. Brooks was the most loyal of friends, especially to his beloved dog, Walter. His family knows he was an extraordinary father and husband.
