Betty Jean Teague, 77, drew her final breath in this life on Friday morning, July 14, 2023, surrounded by people who loved her dearly.\n\nShe is survived by her husband, David R. Teague; daughter, Letitia DeBardelaben; sons, Cedric (Debbie) and Dwayne (Dana) DeBardelaben; step daughter, Lisa Love (Steve); eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson, one sister, Ann Holton, and three brothers, Nelson, Bill and Bobby Fannin.\n\nBetty was born on Valentine's Day (February 14), 1946 in Grady, AL to Cody and Ella Fannin. She spent the majority of her life in Alabama before she and David moved to South Carolina in 2003.\n\nShe accepted Christ early in her life and spread the gospel through words and deeds thereafter. People loved her open heart and clever sense of humor, and they always left her presence smiling and feeling encouraged. She enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel, gardening, and reading.
