It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Corbin Baker, a beloved mother, grandma and friend. Born on January 9, 1934, in Early Branch, South Carolina, Betty lived a life full of love, laughter, and service to others. She passed away on June 11, 2023, leaving behind a legacy that will live on in the memories of those who knew her.\n\nThe family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:30am. A Chapel will follow at 1:00pm in Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel with interment in Beaufort National Cemetery at 2:00pm.\n\nShe is survived by three sons, Dennis Lamar Glass, William Neal Glass and James Scott Glass; one brother, William Wheeler Corbin, Jr.; five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.\n\nShe is preceded in death by her parents, Wheeler Corbin and Janie Carter Corbin; and two sisters, Delores Helen Ginn and Bonnie Joyce Hardage.\n\nIn lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Grays Hill Baptist Church, 2749 Trask Parkway, Beaufort, SC 29906 or CAPA.\n\nWe invite you to leave memories and upload photos to the memorial page in celebration of Betty's life.
