Athena "Tena" Ramsey Benton Helms Obituary (1957

Athena "Tena" Benton Helms, 63, born on November 16, 1957 in Gastonia, NC, has passed away in Panama City, FL on September 2, 2021 peacefully in her sleep with Tony by her side. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 10:00 am at Anderson Funeral Home with a service to follow at 11:30am in Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. She was a resident of Jasper County for the past 35 years. She was the daughter of Wayne Ramsey and Sylvia Ramsey both preceded her in death. Survived by her husband Tony Helms; her son, Bobby Richardson (Alisa); a daughter, Jessica R. Stanley; a step daughter, Ashley Hess (Brandon); a brother, Cooter (Ralph) Ramsey(Stacie); a sister, Lisa Ramsey. She has five granddaughters, Kadence, Brianna, Harbor, Robin and Ramsey; three grandsons, Alistair, Joe and Brady. She will be greatly missed by all.
