Dr. Ahraya Tocharoen Obituary (1938

Doctor Ahraya Tocharoen BEAUFORT - Dr. Ahraya Tocharoen, 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Family, friends and guests are invited to attend his drop-in visitation from 5-7 PM at Anderson Funeral Home on Friday, September 7, 2012. His memorial service will be held in Thailand in the near future. Dr. Tocharoen is survived by his devoted wife and best friend of 43 years, Gridsana Tocharoen of Beaufort, SC, three loving daughters, Dr. Chana Tocharoen of Greenville, SC, Dr. Tanya Tocharoen Tang and her husband Shaun Tang of Philadelphia, PA and Dr. Aunyika Tocharoen Moonan, her husband Dr. Robert Moonan and one granddaughter, Alana Moonan of Columbia, SC. Dr. Tocharoen was a deeply loyal, hard working, compassionate and loving husband, father, grandfather, physician and friend. He truly loved working for more than 39 years (July 5, 1973 - August 10, 2012) at Beaufort Jasper Comprehensive Health Services, Inc. at the St. Helena Medical Center. He also enjoyed working at the Beaufort Memorial Hospital and the Naval Hospital emergency room in previous years. Dr. Tocharoen was Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Tocharoen very much loved his family and friends, his patients, his staff, teaching students, traveling around the world and taking pictures. He was a great inspiration to his family, especially to his three daughters. He tirelessly and selflessly worked to help better the lives of those around him. He will be greatly missed by all of the people he profoundly touched.
